Baader's innovative double-stacked filter uses sophisticated coatings to produce a sharp 8nm wide bandpass, centered at 395nm. This bandpass provides ample contrast for high-resolution imaging of super granulation, flares, and other features that are prominent in CaK. Unlike small, dedicated, and expensive CaK telescopes, the Baader K-Line filter works with with your existing telescope - at a small fraction of the cost. The Baader CaK may be used with virtually any telescope, of any aperture - Newtonian, SCT, Refractor, etc.

The Dew-Not Dew Removers are heater strips designed for use in 12 volt systems. The heater wraps around the telescope tube and secures with a Velcro tab. The outer surface of the heater strip is insulated to direct the heat into the telescope, reducing waste of your battery juice. With or without a dew shield, the Dew-Not heater lets you view when unheated scopes are foggy!

A 7-amp hour battery should be enough to run most telescopes for quite awhile before recharging is necessary. The Power Tank has two 12V output cigarette lighter ports. There are three 5mm pin-jack outlets for operating accessories (1 amp max)...a 3V, a 6V and a 9V. There is a built-in flashlight with a red filter cap. There is an 800,000 candle-power halogen emergency spotlight built into the unit. Includes a 220/110V AC recharger. A DC power cord is included, meant exclusively for Celestron telescopes. If you plan to use this power source on a Meade scope, you will still need a #607 (or equivalent) DC power cord. Finally, there is a built-in circuit breaker in the unit, and separate on-off switches for the battery and flashlights.
